Are you addicted? How can you stop?

Some people might not notice and they might have IAD. How do you know if you have IAD? I found a great website that allows you to take a survey to find out how addicted you are, here check it out.
Well, are you addicted or not? Ready to stop it? It's not easy once you are addicted to the Internet and have a bunch of accounts that you check everyday, this is not like smoking, were you can just get a "Anti-Smoke Patch". Some tips to stop "wasting" your time online are:
- Find new hobbies.
- If you have an online account that you don't need, cancel it.
- When you are bored, avoid the Internet.
- Read the News"PAPER" instead of looking at it online
- If you can, limit checking your email.
These are some tips that can help IAD. The most important thing to do to stop IAD is set a scechule of when you are going to use the Internet, for what reason, and follow it.

The Addiction

Internet addiction is becoming a serious problem in today's society. A lot of people are suffering from Internet addiction disorder (IAD), and it's not only the young audience, some elderly people as well. This a new kind of addiction that is becoming as bad as drug or alcohol addiction, but of course, the outcome is not as critical. A lot of people rather be sitting behind a computer instead of going outside and meeting new people and doing new things. IAD has spread becuase of all the things that you can do online in toady's word, you can shop, watch a movie, read the news, play video games, chat with friends, and many more things. The Internet is not completely bad, it can also be used for a lot of positive things, but it is bad when you abuse it, when you don't take it in moderation and put a time limit on what you do. Here is a great website to read about the dissorder, and my other blog has a survey that lets you know if you are addicted.
