Oh wow, not even close! Jonas Brother's like The Beatles... Hah!

I don't think that a lot of people our age even care about them, the Jonas Brother's are only an "Idol" for little elementary school girls. I don't really think that they have much talent and I hate when people compare them to The Beatles or other great bands.I don't know if they like comparing themselves to The Beatles but I know that they will never be like them, the Jonas Brothers even made a remake of "Hello, Goodbye" A band like The Beatles went have gone trough a lot and experimented with a lot of different music. The Jonas Brothers are just a way for Disney to make money, just like Miley Cyrus. I don't think that the Jonas Brothers will even come close to being as good as The Beatles were. I think that in a year or two everyone is going to forget about them and there is going to be a bigger star that Disney has come up with.

Watchmen

I saw this movie and now I want to read the graphic novel. I really liked this movie and the point that it gets across. I like how the blood lands on the comedians smiley face button representing that there can't be happiness without blood. I think that this shows people the idea that we are our biggest enemy. There is always hatred amongst every human, there is always a group that wants to be superior. The only way to end the war was to make everyone believe that there was a greater force that they had to destroy. When the Americans and the Russians saw this they decided to team up and fight that to prove that they are greater. Everyone always wants to be on top and like this it will be an endless cycle of fighting. Here is an awesome interactive page about the movie that introduces the characters. Visit the site and enter your name to experience a 10-minute long interactive trailer for WATCHMEN. You will enter the world of WATCHMEN, interact with one of the characters, and unlock exclusive content from the film.

Good bye Fcat!

Finally! It's over... I think... That's what I tought last year but this year it's for sure, the Fcat is finally gone. The science Fcat was really easy and I think that they gave us way too much time to do it. The time per section was 75 minutes and I took about 25 minutes to do it. It was kind of pointless for our education, it was only benifitial for the schools grade. At least it is finally over and we don't have to worry about it any more.

German student kills 15 people.

German teen Tim Kretschmer, 17 years old, massacred 15 people at a school in Winnenden. Tim had warned everyone over an internet chat room, "It said something like, 'Everybody is laughing at me. Nobody recognises my potential. I have arms, I have guns, and tomorrow morning I will go to my previous school and show them what I can do'," Mr Rech said. Tim had warned the students what he was going to do and I guess no one saw it or took it seriious. Tim Kretschmer was a computer game and gun enthusiast.
The news has given gun videogames bad publicity, some people say that violence videogames were the reason why Tim killed the people. I don't belive that gun/violent games should be accused for causing Tim to do what he did. Tim's father was a member of the Rifle Association and had guns arround the house. I doubt that videogames were the cause of Tims massacre. What do you guys think?

Is the legalization on Marijuana in California a good idea?

Its being called The Inalienable Rights Enforcement Initiative. From the full text of the measure:
"This initiative will amend the Constitution of California to defend and safeguard the inalienable rights of the People against infringement by governments and corporations, providing for the lawful growth, sale, and possession of marijuana. Marijuana will be taxed through a system of stamps and licenses--a $5 stamp will be required for the sale of an eighth ounce of marijuana and a $50 annual license will be required for the growth of one marijuana plant. To protect participants and encourage participation in the system, such licenses and stamps will be available anonymously in stores where marijuana is sold."
Do you guys think that this is a good idea? Do you think that by legalizing weed in California it will spread throughout the United States? Most important, do you think that taxing it will help the economy? Give me toughts.
