We all know Culture Room right? It the place were all the concerts are at. I've gone to this place for four concerts so far, and tomorrow will be my 5th. I have noticed that the place is really small and its really hazardous in case of a fire. If a fire broke out everyone would die because the fire exits are blocked and when its a big concert the place is really packed, so packed that anyone can hardly move. Have you been to Culture Room? What's your opinion?

Friday the 13th (2009)... Not that good.

I saw this movie last Friday and I did not like it. I seriously tough it was funnier than it was scarier.I'm still deciding if it was a porno, a horror film, or a comedy. There are a lot of pointless sex scenes and the kills that Jason did were gory, but not scary at all. All of the deaths were predictable and they did the whole "BOOM" sound effects to scare you. If a horror movie has to use loud sounds to scare you, that's sad. A real horror movie is not predictable, my friend called out every death like 2 minutes before they happened. The only sacred people in the theater were some middle school girls, I swear that I heard more laughs than shrieks. If I go watch a horror movie I want to see one that is not predictable at all, and one that does not have to use loud sounds to scare you. I don't recommend this movie to anyone, In a scale from 1-10 1 being the worst 10 being the best I rate it a 3. I gave it a 3 because it made me laugh at a lot of scenes, yup, that's how fail of a horror it is. There are people who will disagree, but I think it could have been a lot scarier.
Trailer (looks good here, I guess):

More about Travis.

Travis barker experienced a plane crash On September 19, 2008. The jet was headed for Van Nuys, California but it crashed at the run way outside of Columbia, South Carolina. The plane was departing the airport when air traffic controllers saw sparks emanating from the plane. It went off the runway, smashed through a fence, crossed a nearby road, slammed into an embankment and caught fire. He was transported to the burn center and was listed in a critical condition. Barker sued the plane's owners, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., and an airplane maintenance company on November 21, 2008. He sought more than $25,000 in damages "for pain and suffering, disfigurement, loss of earnings, and medical and legal expenses", claiming that the companies had "improperly operated and maintained the Learjet".
Blink 182 reunion!

At the 51st Grammy Awards ceremony on February 8, 2009, all three members of the band appeared onstage for the first time since December 2004. A great band is coming back again. After Travis Barker (Blink 182's drummer) tragic accident the band finally talked to each other and are thinking of a reunion. The logo has also changed from having five arrows to six. On February 16, DeLonge confirmed that Blink-182 would be touring in "a big event" this summer. I love this band and I can't wait to go to one of their concerts.

Vans Shoes

I love Vans Shoes. They are comfy, they are good for skating, and they look good. However some people there is something behind the average Vans shoes. On every Vans shoe you'll find a pattern of a bunch of little stars, and they are the Star of David. A lot of people have taken this as a way of saying "step on the Jews" and they call people who wear Vans and people who made them neo-Nazis. I don't really think it means that, how about you?
The World's Youngest Transsexual

Kim Petras (Left image) is considered the worlds youngest transsexual. Kim Petras, born Tim Petras, is a German teenager who decided to become a girl at the age of two. She said "I was always a girl born in a boys body." At the age of 12 she started going trough the operation treatments. The doctors injected female hormones and stopped the male puberty. When Kim was 16 she got the operation and she is now legally considered a female. Kim is 16 and she's a successful German pop star. What do you guys think? Was this a good idea? Any comments?

China thinks ahead. Make internet addiction clinics!

Internet addiction keeps on getting worse because of new internet advances. China has already started thinking ahead and they have made clinics for young internet addicts. "Alarmed by a survey that found that nearly 14 percent of teens in China are vulnerable to becoming addicted to the Internet, the Chinese government has launched a nationwide campaign to stamp out what the Communist Youth League calls "a grave social problem" that threatens the nation." - Internet Article.
World of Warcraft... one of the biggest internet addictions out there

One of the biggest internet addiction is a game developed by Blizzard called World of Warcraft.
This game is like an "alternate life" were people from all around the world can interact with each other. As of now over 14 million of people play this game, and about 20% are addicted. This is a serious issue with today's society becuase it's not only young people who play this game but also elderly people play this. Everyone from the age range of 12-55 play this game. Here is a youtube video of a world of warcraft addict. People who play this game become "moody and violent" and they stop caring about their social lifes.
